In a bid to keep up with evolving consumer tastes, Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) has introduced two new Gordon's Gin variants and two Gordon's premixes in the Kenyan market. The decision was informed by recent research revealing a growing preference for flavored gins among consumers in the country.
At the launch event held at The Waterfront Karen mall in Nairobi, Effie Thiong'o, EABL’s Head of Innovations, highlighted the company's commitment to meeting changing consumer preferences. Thiong'o stated, "Today’s consumers are looking for exciting and flavorful drinks," and KBL aims to cater to this demand by expanding its portfolio with these new flavors.
The new Gordon's variants include Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon and Gordon’s Mediterranean Orange, both packed in 700ml bottles with an ABV of 37.5 percent. Additionally, two premixes, Gordon’s & Tonic and Gordon’s Pink & Tonic, are available in 300ml cans with an ABV of 5 percent. These innovations offer Kenyan consumers a variety of delightful options to enjoy, without the need for additional mixers.
